Sarah Davies is a professional Harpist and music teacher. She has been playing the harp at Weddings and events for over 9 years. She plays both the pedal and the clàrsach (celtic) harps.
Sarah has performed in venues across the UK, predominantly in the North of England, including Saddleworth, Cheshire, Yorkshire and Lancashire. She has performed for both public and private events in venues such as churches, hotels, stately homes and restaurants.
Sarah began playing the harp at the age of 9. She also is an accomplished classical guitarist and pianist, graduating from Leeds College of Music in 2013 with a BA(hons) Music Degree.
Sarah regularly competes in competitions and music festivals, including the prestigious International Scottish MOD, where in 2012 she won the open advanced clàrsach harp competition (the first English person to win this award in over 30 years). She has also won many different awards, such as most promising string player at the Ramsbottom music festival, and Ikley music festival.
